Totem Figures

This is a series of audio interviews with various people about who or what would be on their Mt. Rushmore. Which famous people? Which non-famous people? Which institutions, or jobs, or relationships or formative experiences or (fill in the blank). How did these people, places, things and experiences impact their lives?  And what do they have in common?

This interview series is an off-shoot of TJ Dawe’s 2008 monologue Totem Figures. There are audio clips from that show which explain the concept in more detail. There’s also an entire performance of the stage show Totem Figures.

Each interview has its own page, accompanied by links and videos, giving you the opportunity to look further into the subject and their totems if you’re interested.

All interviews are twenty-five minutes or so. A new one will be added about every two weeks. Or maybe once a month. Depends on how busy TJ is that month.

If you’d like to give feedback on these, send an email to thepurplepick (at) yahoo (dot) ca.
